Spring Equinox is when day and night are equal lengths. This special time is celebrated by many traditions, from Christian Easter to Jewish Passover to the Iranian New Year, known as Nowruz. For Wiccans it is Ostara.
It is traditionally a time to plant seeds and to reflect on what we have achieved over winter, or since the winter solstice.
If you are planting seeds, have a peek at our Money Outdoors lesson to see how to turn a veg patch into an enterprise activity.
But this is also a great time to learn about the seasons, why we have them and what they look like.
